What? Skydive from space? Yep, someone has already done it. On August 16, 1960 Captain Joe Kittinger jumped from the gondola of a helium filled high altitude balloon at an altitude of 102,800 feet (arguably making him the first man in space), a feat that hasn't been equaled since, not even close.
